HC Deb 07 June 1990 vol 173 c677W
Mr. Tony Banks

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to his reply of 22 February,Official Report, column 871, what is the latest information he has on the number of Panamanian civilians killed as a result of the invasion of Panama by the United States of America.

Mr. Sainsbury

We have no independent source for such figures. We understand that information from the Panamanian Institute of Legal Medicine suggests a figure of 202. Other estimates range between 200 and 300.
