To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what action he has taken with regard to the two smaller milk marketing boards in Scotland following the completion of the study on Scottish Pride quality dairy foods.

My Department has now completed a study on the relationship between the Aberdeen and district milk marketing board's producer activities and its commercial division. Copies of the report are now available in the Library of the House. The study on the North of Scotland milk marketing board will be completed shortly.
