§ Mr. Heathcoat-Amory[holding answer 6 June 1990]: Emission factors used in preparing the national emission inventory are derived from the latest data available. Where possible, they relate to specific source categories. Methane emissions from fuel combustion in each source category are affected by the combustion conditions and the fuel mixture.
