Mr. Dobson

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what proportion of dwellings in each district in Scotland are insulated to the standard required by his Department.

[holding answer 6 June 1990]: The Scottish Office does not lay down insulation standards for existing houses, but gives guidance to housing authorities on standards where application is made for insulation grant. Information of the type requested by the hon. Member is not held centrally.
