To ask the Secretary of State if he will make a statement on the privatisation of the Lowland Scottish bus group.

My right hon. and learned Friend announced on 1 June 1990 that he has given his consent to the sale by the Scottish Transport Group of Lowland Scottish Omnibuses Ltd. to the company's management-employee buy-out team.
