§ Mr. CurryThe EC Commission has recently issued proposals for EC controls on bee health to replace national measures after 1992. The Department is in close touch with United Kingdom beekeeping associations and other interested organisations on these proposals. Our aim in the forthcoming negotiations will be to obtain the best safeguards possible to protect United Kingdom bee health.
