§ Mrs. HealTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will call for a report from the chief constable of the West Midlands as to what police resources in the form of officers, cars and dogs were involved in the search on 14 May when two inmates absconded from Her Majesty's young offenders institution, Lichfield; what was the cost of the operation; from what budget this will be paid; and if he will make a statement;
(2) for what purpose a helicopter was deployed following the incident at Her Majesty's young offenders institution, Lichfield, on 14 May; and what was the cost incurred.
