To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish in theOfficial Report the latest figures of self-employed people in the Tweeddale, Ettrick and Lauderdale constituency.

The latest figures available are for census day in April 1981. In the census returns 1,803 men and 458 women living in the Tweeddale, Ettrick and Lauderdale constituency said that they were self-employed.
