§ Mr. Frank FieldTo ask the Minister for the Arts what assessment he has made of the possibility of the Gelman collection currently on show at the Royal Academy staying in Britain.
§ Mr. Luce[holding answer 24 May 1990]: I understand from the Royal Academy, which has been responsible for the arrangement for the current exhibition, that the Gelman collection has proved to be very popular and will be shown until 15 July. I was pleased to cover the insurance requirements under my Government indemnity scheme. Any further arrangements will, of course, be a matter for the owner of the collection, Mrs. Gelman.
