§ Mr. David HuntEuropartenariat 1990 is sponsored by the European Commission which will be meeting two thirds of the estimated total cost of £750,000. The remaining third is the responsibility of the host region and will be met by the Welsh Development Agency. Local authorities are not making direct financial contributions, but South Glamorgan county council is sponsoring a lunch for delegates on 14 June.
I am delighted that Wales has the honour to host this major event which will provide an excellent showcase for small Welsh companies and the opportunity for them to meet potential business partners from other parts of the European Community.
