§ Mr. CurryPrior to 1990 caseous lymphadenitis had not been recorded in animals in the United Kingdom for many years. It has, however, been confirmed in three goat herds in England in the last six months all linked by the movement of stock to the same import consignment. There have been no reported cases of human infection in the United Kingdom in the same period.
