To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security how many people in Clydebank and Milngavie, or in the administrative units approximating to this area for which the information is available, are in receipt of(a) invalid care allowance, (b) attendance allowance and (c) severe disablement allowance.

I regret that details of the numbers of people in Clydebank and Milngavie receiving(a) invalid care allowance and (b) attendance allowance are not available.

As at 30 April 1990, the latest date for which the information is held, the numbers of people receiving severe disablement allowance from the Department's local social security offices at Clydebank and Glasgow (Maryhill) which serve the Clydebank and Milngavie constituency, although their boundaries are not conterminous, were:
