§ Mrs. MahonTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what would be the annual cost, net of tax, of raising the basic retirement pension for single people by £5 per week and the married couple's pension by £8 per week(a) assuming a similar increase in income-related benefits for pensioners, including invalidity pensioners and (b) assuming no other benefit increases.
