§ Mr. AndersonTo ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will ask the Official Receiver to investigate allegations of political donations by British and Commonwealth prior to its declaring that it had within the provisions of the Insolvency Acts.
§ Mr. RedwoodThe Official Receiver can investigate only companies that are in compulsory liquidation. The affairs of British and Commonwealth are a matter for its administrators appointed under the Insolvency Act 1986.
