§ Mr. WaddingtonThe Law Commission considered the laws relating to blasphemy and blasphemous libel as recently as 1985, in its report on "Offences Against Religion and Public Worship" (Law Commission No. 145, HC442). It would not be appropriate to ask the Law Commission to consider this subject again after such a comparatively short interval.
