The United Kingdom contribution to the current (sixth) European development fund (1985–90) is 16.58 per cent. of the total.

The majority of the emergency and food aid for Uganda has been allocated to the north. A number of different regions have benefited from the project and programme aid, including Kampala, the north-east, the east, Karamoja, Masaka, Mbarara, Kabale amd Mpigi.

Details of the separate bilateral aid programme administered by ODA were given in my reply to the right hon. Gentleman of 7 June.
