§ Mr. MacleanThere are currently one hundred and forty-six and a half animal health officers in post in the state veterinary service. The qualifications for entry require candidates to be at least 20 years of age, physically fit, hold a current driving licence and have 4 GCE O-levels or CSE grade 1 passes including English and a scientific subject. Equivalent qualifications are also considered.
