To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what are the average annual running costs of(a) each vessel listed on pages 53, 54 and 55 according to class, (b) each of the commando units and headquarters listed on page 55 according to type of unit, (c) each of the squadrons according to the type of equipment with which they are issued listed on pages 56, 59 and 60 and (d) each of the units and headquarters according to type of unit listed on page 57 of the "Statement on the Defence Estimates 1990", Cm. 1022-1; and what methodology has been used to assess the average annual running costs of units.
