§ Mr. Archie HamiltonAs I said in my answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Gedling (Mr. Mitchell) on 5 April 1990 at column834, there was a minor release of radioactivity from the Barnwell test conducted on 8 December 1989, but no radioactivity was detected beyond the boundaries of the test site; no radiological hazard was presented to members of the public nor to operatives on the test site. None of the other tests released any radioactivity.
