§ Mr. MacleanMy right hon. Friend the Minister has for some time been urging the dairy industry to come forward with proposals for change to the milk marketing arrangements. I will consider sympathetically any proposals it makes which would lead to a more competitive industry better able to respond positively to the challenges and opportunities of the single market.
