§ Mr. Peter Lloyd[holding answer 23 July 1990]: The number of firearm and shotgun certificates on issue at 31 December 1988 was published in Home Office statistical bulletin 18/89, a copy of which is in the Library. Information relating to 31 December 1989 will also be published soon in a Home Office statistical bulletin.
