§ Mr. MoynihanMy right hon. Friend considered requests that he should call in the application for outline permission in June 1988 when the borough council decided to proceed with the scheme. He considered that the issues raised were local ones and not such as to justify his intervention. That remains his view in respect of any other related applications for the provision of a sports and leisure complex on this site.
