§ Mr. CurryAs I said in my reply to the hon. Member on 18 July, Fisheries Departments accept that the circumstantial evidence points to some misreporting having taken place, but we must have hard evidence in order to prosecute. Departments are therefore examining all fishing documents of vessels which might have been involved. They are also looking urgently at ways of limiting misreporting in future.
