§ Mr. Peter LloydPeople who were returned from Italy on 26 June following incidents of violence in Rimini were photographed on their arrival at Gatwick airport by the national football intelligence unit (NFIU), which is responsible for obtaining, collating and analysing information about individuals who are suspected of being involved in acts of football hooliganism.
Personal information held by NFIU on computer is subject to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1984.
