§ Mr. MoateTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects to publish the results of his evaluation of the operation of section 39 of the Public Order Act 1986 with particular reference to the interpretation of police forces of the circumstances under which the relevant powers should be exercised.
§ Mr. Peter LloydWe are considering the representations which we received in response to the announcement of the evaluation of section 39 and hope to reach conclusions by the end of the year.
