§ Mr. Dorrell"Place of delivery: a review" by Rona Campbell and Alison Macfarlane;British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (1986) volume 93 pages 675–83 a copy of which is available in the Library, is the most recent refereed publication arising from work funded by the Department. Alison Macfarlane is employed by the national perinatal epidemiology unit at Oxford which has conducted considerable work in this field with departmental funding since 1978.
