§ The Prime MinisterExport Credits Guarantee Department cover, subject to varying security requirements, is available for short-term credits for all markets of eastern Europe. Cover for medium-term export credits—that is, credits in excess of two years—is available to Czechoslovakia, GDR, Hungary and the USSR. The position on the availability of ECGD medium-term credit for other countries is under active review.
