What was the United Kingdom contribution to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (a) general funds and (b) special projects in 1989–90; and what is the projected figure for 1990–91.

As a major traditional supporter of UNHCR, we contributed the following:

So far in 1990–91 we have contributed £10.075 million to UNHCR, £4 million for general programmes and £6.075 million for special programmes. Overall we expect at least to match last year's contribution.
