§ Sir Geoffrey HoweI have no plans to implement a scheme of merit awards for Members, but the hon.600W Member's interesting suggestion poses the question of how the parameters of such a scheme would be defined and who would decide whether or not a Member qualified for such an award. It has been suggested that quality of performance is in inverse proportion to quantity.
