§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe strength of the Royal Marines Reserve as at 31 May 1990 was 1,135. In 1983 we announced plans to increase the strength of the RMR by 400 men, to about 1,580 men in total, and the RMR continues to recruit towards this manpower target.
