To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many civil servants in his Department of the rank of principal or equivalent and above are graduates of Oxford and Cambridge; and how many are graduates of other universities.

There are 321 Welsh Office staff at principal grade or equivalent and above. Ten are graduates of Oxford, 15 of Cambridge and 212 of other universities.
