How many prison places were lost as a result of the April prison disturbances at each of the prisons concerned.

One thousand, nine hundred and thirty-nine inmate places were lost during the recent prison disturbances, as follows:

Dartmoor 153
Glen Parva 70
Long Lartin 28
Manchester 939
Pucklechurch 103
Stoke Heath 60
Winchester 31

Five hundred and ninety-two of these places have been brought back into use, including all the places at Cardiff, Glen Parva, Long Lartin, Stoke Heath and Winchester; 294 places at Bristol; and 14 places at Dartmoor.
