§ Mr. MaudeMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs had extensive discussions of Franco-British relations with M. Dumas at the annual bilateral summit on 4 May. Since then they have kept closely in touch when they have seen each other at a dozen or so multilateral meetings.
Bilateral relations are extremely good. We consult and co-operate very closely.
