§ Mr. SainsburyWe have regular contacts with the Governments of central America, including at the San Jose VI conference at which the EC, central America and Panama were represented together with Colombia, Mexico, and Venezuela. We consistently make clear our support for peaceful negotiated settlements to the various conflicts in the region. Recent events have given grounds for optimism.
