§ Mr. Trippier[holding answer 9 July 1990]: I understand that about 1 cu m of CFC113 was released when a new cooling system was being commissioned at the JET laboratory at Culham, some of which was subsequently recovered. I regret any avoidable release of ozone-depleting chemicals, but the quantity involved is not significant compared with current levels of CFC consumption.
