§ Mr. MacleanAll milk contains natural BST. Milk from cows treated with manufactured BST may be offered110W for sale to the public if the treatment was carried out in accordance with an animal test certificate—ATC. Before ATCs were issued the Veterinary Products Committee examined all available data relating to the BST products concerned and concluded that they were of good quality and that their use in field trials would pose no threat to the health of consumers, to persons handling the product or to the environment.
