§ Mr. David HuntThe impact of the single market on Wales will depend on the flexibility with which individual firms and industries respond to the opportunities and challenges which it presents. The Europartenariat forum which was recently hosted in Wales by the Welsh Development Agency, with the support of the European Commission, provided an excellent opportunity for firms, particularly small firms, in Wales to develop the potential for business co-operation with companies elsewhere in Europe and I am delighted that so many Welsh firms took the opportunity to participate.
