HC Deb 09 July 1990 vol 176 c102W
Mr. Ron Davies

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what information he has about the distribution in Britain of artioposthia triangulata; what assessment he has made about its impact on the nature ecosystem; and if he has any proposals for control measures.

Mr. Curry

The New Zealand flat worm needs damp conditions and is unlikely to survive in well drained agricultural land. It is sporadically sighted in Scotland but has not been found in England since 1965.
