To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment his Department made of the human rights implications when it was consulted about the sale of 24 Shorts Shortland S55 armoured personnel carriers to Pakistan's Sind police.

It is not our custom to give information on specific sales, but the hon. Member can be assured that the human rights implications of any such contract would be carefully considered along with the full range of other issues.
