§ Mrs. RumboldUnder local management of schools all primary and secondary schools will be funded according to the resource allocation formula as approved by my right hon. Friend. Although not required to do so, the majority of local education authorities have indicated that they intend, in the longer term, to delegate responsibility for managing budgets to schools with fewer than 100 pupils.
