§ Mr. GummerThe Department of Environment has commissioned a study of non-agricultural uses of herbicides and the Advisory Committee on Pesticides is reviewing as a priority those herbicides found most frequently in water. Advice may be issued to local authorities and British Rail in the light of these initiatives.
