§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonIt is for Scottish Homes, in discussion with individual district councils to decide whether it is appropriate to make alternative arrangements for future maintenance of common amenities. Responsibility for bearing a proportionate share of the burden of common charges is clearly set out in the sales agreement under which former tenants of Scottish Homes have purchased their houses.
