To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects to be able to publish the conclusions of the consultative document "Assessment and Control: the Management of Violent and Disruptive Prisoners".

We have received a wide range of comments on the consultative document which aroused considerable interest. My right hon. and learned Friend and I are still considering the responses, but we expect to reach our conclusions within the next few weeks.
