§ The Prime MinisterThe plight of the British hostages in Lebanon is high among our concerns. We have raised the matter with a wide range of Governments and organisations who might have influence on the hostage holders. Her Majesty's ambassador in Beirut, in a difficult and dangerous environment, follows up every lead. We will continue to make every possible effort on behalf of the hostages.
