§ Mr. StrawTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will place in the Library a copy of each proposal for acquisition of grant-maintained status required from the governing body of the school under section 62 of the Education Reform Act 1988 received by him to date.
§ Mr. MacGregorUnder section 62 of the Education Reform Act 1988 the governing body of a school applying for grant-maintained status must publish statutory proposals, a copy of which they are obliged to send to me. I shall put in train arrangements for the Library to receive a copy of the proposals for those schools on which I have reached decisions.
