HC Deb 30 January 1990 vol 166 c117W
Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list by location where creche facilities are provided for working mothers employed in his Department; and if they have to make any payment for this service.

Mr. Waddington

In addition to its support for Cabinet Office initiatives towards the provision of child care in the Civil Service and to the secondment of an officer to the Midland bank nursery project, the Home Office is planning to provide, for payment, creche facilities for its employees in Croydon and Bootle shortly, and is considering the possibility of making similar provision in London.
