§ Mr. AmosTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence what provisions are being made in all the offices and other places under his Department's control for the convenience and comfort of non-smokers; and if he will make a statement on his Department's policy for non-smokers.
§ Mr. NeubertSmoking is discouraged throughout the Department and is prohibited in lifts and other enclosed spaces. A number of no-smoking areas have been established in offices, recreational areas, staff restaurants and other communal rest areas. No-smoking areas will be developed and extended in response to the wishes of staff.
