Whether they consider that the European Community has any competence in cultural matters; and whether such a view should lead them to refrain from supporting British-based projects which might benefit.

The Treaty of Rome makes no specific provision regarding culture. We wish success to British organisations which apply for Community funding for worthwhile projects.
