To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he has any information as to the numbers of RAF apprentices and officer trainee pilots who are on full pay and have been classified as students for community charge purposes.

I understand that 411 RAF apprentices and technicians have been classified as students for community charge purposes. I am not aware that any RAF officer trainees have been so classified.
