§ Mr. Wyn RobertsFourteen maritime district councils in Wales have applied since 1979 for central Government assistance for schemes, approved by the Department under section 5 of the Coast Protection Act 1949, to tackle coastal erosion problems.
The schemes supported under the Act and the actual amount of grant paid during each financial year are listed in the tables:
